Crossbows, Horton, Ten Point, Excalaber?
I am looking to get a crossbow due to problems with my shoulder. I love the re curve of the Excalibur and like the ten points but they are expensive. I was wondering what is the better bow for the money The Bows are:
Excalibur Equinox
Ten-point Phantom CLS
Horton Vision
Parker Concord
I know the Ten Point is the top one but what about Excalibur since its the most simple? Which one will be the best for my money?
I have a 225 pound Excalibur. I prefer the simplicity of the recurve.
It is tough to cock, I use the rope c0cking aid. It reduces the c0cking force to 1/2, but doubles the c0cking pull length. Excalibur offers a crank c0cking aid, which you may need depending on how bad your shoulder is.
I have the Excalibur scope. It has built-in drop compensation with aiming points for various ranges. It works as advertised.
The Excalibur Arrow Quiver that attaches to the bow is bulky and awkward.
