The book has the complete list of the names of the episodes, the numbers, and also the descriptions of them. The discs themselves list only the numbers for the episodes, but not the names.
The new edition of Friends has the same content as the original full set releases. There are menu designs and bonus features that are the same; the only real thing that is different is the artwork for the collection. The 40 DVDs are divided into groups that are in hardbound books that feature photos of each of the main characters. This is the perfect collection for those fans who do not own a lot of episodes already, and owning the set is the most economical way to own the 236 episodes of the show. With extra features and many bonuses this DVD set will be entertained for hours, if not days with their favorite show.
